Dancing the Medicine Wheel

The Medicine Wheel is a symbology that is used by many different cultures worldwide. There are differences in iconography based upon culture, however, all these sacred hoops serve as compasses that guide practical direction, ceremony, tracking live events and seasons based upon the cyclical nature of life.

In Peruvian shamanism, the medicine wheel is based on the 4 winds that blow in the cardinal directions, South, West, North, and East and are associated with their corresponding energies: Serpent, Jaguar, Hummingbird and Eagle/Condor. The beauty of this system is how it gives us different perspectives on how to view a singular situation. Shamans work with the energies of the medicine wheel to assist people to heal in areas in which they may be stuck, inviting these winds to come in and reveal what needs to be shifted, assisting to restore harmony and balance.

The Medicine Wheel and it's 4 winds are inviting you to step into the sacred hoop of life and dance! By focusing on the non-linear nature of life, we understand there will always be a beginning, middle, end and a beginning again, removing any fear of missteps along the way.
